Life Vest

Life vests are cumbersome.

That’s the usual excuse
for not wearing one.

Other reasons are possible,
like it simply doesn’t look cool.

But what if the PFD –
the personal flotation
device – isn’t cumbersome?

Astal’s Ronny Fisher life vest, made for kayak fishing, is the opposite of cumbersome.

It’s also loaded with storage for fishing gear and looks cool.

To make the vest comfortable,
the company uses its so-called “ThinVent” back design for flotation.

Watch a video for
further explanation.

The vest features multiple
front pockets for gear including tackle boxes.

A gear organizer offers quick access to gear like hemostats or a clipper.

The Ronny Fisher also features a stowable rain hood, a beverage holder, like for a 12-ounce can or a bottle, a mesh liner for comfort, reflective trim for safety, and more

It's available in either charcoal or green color.

A PFD that’s comfortable is even more important if your vessel is a kayak, with limited room.

Gosh, some kayak anglers might want to wear this simply for looks.
