Canyon Reels

Canyon Reels. They grab attention.

Maybe it’s the name. Maybe it’s the look.

Or maybe it’s who uses them, like the crew who won
the Outdoor Channel’s Madfin Shark Series on TV.

Assembled in Bricktown, N.J. – not a surprising location for world fishing – the reels are built mostly for big game, like tuna at the offshore canyons.

But Canyon Reels are also built for small game in saltwater,
like striped bass and sea bass.

Three types are made.

The trolling reels, named the EX series, are two-speeds, available in sizes 16, 30, 50, 80 and 130.

The high-speed jigging reels, the
HS series, come in a variety of models, including for different line capacities, single speed or two speed, twin drag or single drag, and more.

Plus the company makes a spinning reel that’s heavy-duty.

The folks at Canyon Reels used to specialize in upgrading reels from other companies for customers.

That included upgrading drags and bearings and applying high-performance drag grease.

These upgrades come standard in Canyon Reels, the company says.

The reels are made to be upgraded, power-packed and super-smooth right out of the box, it says.

The company strives to make the best product possible at a price anglers can afford without breaking the bank, it says.

Actually, all of that grabs attention.
