Accurate
Boss Fury

More is better, right?

Sometimes.

When Accurate became
known for reels with
twin drags, one on each
side of the spool,
that seemed a great idea.

You wouldn’t drive
a car with brakes on one
side, would you? the
company asked.

But are twin drags
always best?

Apparently not. Take it from the company itself.

The Boss Fury Reel, introduced in recent months, is Accurate’s first-ever single-drag.

What’s the reel all about?

That’s simple, and meant to be.

The Boss Fury is designed for smaller fish from football tuna to sea bass, and is Accurate’s most affordable reel.

You don’t always
need twin drags,
because you
aren’t always
fishing for a catch
like a 200-pound tuna.

Accurate reels
are designed for
specific uses, the
company reminds.

The Boss Fury is
made from billet
aircraft aluminum
for light weight
and strength.

The reel features a simple design with a wet drag for smoothness, stainless steel gears and an ergonomic handle.

Three models are available:

  • the 400 model for 300 yards of 20-pound mono or 400 yards of 40-pound braid;
  • the 500 model for 300 yards of 25-pound mono or 425 yards of 50-pound braid;
  • and the 600 model for 300 yards of 40-pound mono or 450 yards of 65-pound braid.

The Boss Fury is lighter, more comfortable and easy to use, the company says.

The reel is that simple.

Sometimes less is more.
