Rapala Clackin' Lures

New lures are never really invented anymore.

Only new versions are.

Rapala’s Clackin’ series of lures are a new version of a rattling lure, and look like keepers.

The lures – three models, called the Clackin’ Rap, the Clackin’ Crank, and the Clackin’ Minnow – feature a “sound chamber” with a single ball inside.

The ball clacks against two metal discs that can be seen on both sides of the lures.

Reel the lures in, and
the clack from the motion of the lure creates a vibration or rattle meant
to make fish pounce.

The Clackin’ Rap, in the photo at the top of the page, available in four sizes, can be jigged, or can be cast and allowed to sink to the desired depth, and steadily retrieved .

The Clackin’ Crank, in the photo directly above, is a lipped crank bait, and comes in two sizes that make the lure swim down at either
3 feet or 4 feet.

The Clackin’ Minnow, in the photo below, features, of course, a minnow profile, and swims like a wounded-minnow. It's slow sinking, and comes in two sizes.

All come in a variety
of colors, and are built
for bass, walleyes, pike, muskies, trout, salmon
and panfish in freshwater.
