Micro Guide Rods

Carrots make you smarter, right?

The folks at Carrot Stix rods, from the company
Element 21 or E21, would say so.

Fishing with their new Micro Guide rods, for freshwater,
would make you a smarter angler, they’d say, specifically.

The rods, like all Carrot Stix, are made to be extra light, super sensitive, able to cast a country mile, and strong.

What gives Carrot Stix
these qualities?

The rods are actually
made from carrots!

Nano-bio-fibers, as
they’re called -- strong, flexible fibers, the company
says -- are extracted
from carrots, and are
added to the graphite
in the rod blanks.

Plus some of the metal components on the rods
are made from scandium, the lightest, strongest metal, the company says .

The Micro Guide Series, the company’s newest type
of poles, are built to be be the most technologically
advanced Carrot Stix.

They're extremely light, the company says, three-eighths
of an ounce lighter than the originals, and the originals
were already lightweight.

Micro Guides come with tips that are 11 grams
lighter than the originals, increasing casting distance
by 10 percent, the company says.

They're built with 11 Fuji guides that reportedly create a
20-percent better load distribution and prevent both line
flutter and tangle.

Micro Guides are the ultimate in high performance,
the company says.

The series of rods ranges from 6 ½ feet to 7 ½ feet, built for 10- to 30-pound line and ¼-ounce to ¾-ounce lures.

Like all Carrot Stix, Micro Guides
come with a lifetime warranty.

The original Carrot Stix won ICAST awards
for best freshwater rods, best saltwater rods and Best of Show in 2007, and nobody had ever before won three first-place awards,
the company says.

Carrot Stix are available for freshwater,
inshore saltwater, offshore saltwater,
saltwater trolling, kite fishing and fly fishing.

Carrot Stix feature a spectacular
orange finish to go with the name.

So what’s up, doc?
