UPDATE, 2/21/08: Tom Fote sent an e-mail today saying the Senate committee did pass the reef bill. The next step is for the full Senate to vote on the bill and then for the state Assembly to vote on it, and then the governor will either sign off on the bill or reject it.

The Senate Environment Committee hearing date to vote Bill S336 (prohibiting use of certain fishing gear on artificial reefs) and Hooked on Fishing-Not On Drugs is scheduled for Thursday, February 21, at 1 p.m. in the State House Annex, Trenton.  If you can make the hearing please come out and support the bills.
