Anglers interested in the state's trout stocking program are invited and encouraged to attend the annual Trout Stocking Public Meeting on Saturday, February 10, at 10 a.m.
There will be a review of recent changes to the trout stocking program and information on this year's trout allocations, changes to the 2007 spring stocking, information on broodstock lakes, and an update on the Pequest production cycle and new well monitoring system. The public is welcome to share their ideas regarding the trout program.
The meeting will be held at the Pequest Trout Hatchery, located on Rt. 46 about nine miles west of Hackettstown in Warren County. For directions, please visit
